On August 26, I’ll be joining National Queer Theater and Razom for Ukraine for a very special night at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria. Would love to see you there if you’re in NYC. The event is free, but please RSVP here to reserve a spot.
The night will feature an installation of the slide show and sound installation versions of The Queer Face of War, a live performance by Broadway star Kalonjee Gallimore, and a selection of Ukrainian short films around the theme of queer art as resistance. I’ll also be in conversation with Lenny Emson, former executive director of KyivPride.
Doors open at 6:30 and the event begins at 7:00 next Wednesday, August 26, at 36-01 35th Ave in Queens. Please RSVP if you can join us!
