Thanks to everyone who’s donated to help make it possible for me to accept invitations to show The Queer Face of War during Eurovision in Vienna, World Pride in Amsterdam, and Pride Month in Kyiv. I’m now one-third of the way to my goal of raising $5,000 by May 1!

Now’s a great time to donate if you’re able—a generous donor has offered to match the next $1,000 in donations dollar-for-dollar, so your contribution is doubled. You can donate here.

Donations help cover printing, venue costs and exhibition staffing, and travel expenses that continue to skyrocket.

I’ve also received some exciting new invitations to share The Queer Face of War in other cities. The national German LGBTQ+ organization LSVD will be hosting an event for The Queer Face of War in Berlin in May, and Oslo Pride is planning to feature a video-and-sound installation of the work in June. Organizations in two other European capitals are also exploring ways to bring The Queer Face of War to their cities.

These are critical opportunities to build support for Ukraine and for queer people everywhere fighting authoritarianism. But I can’t do this without your support. Please consider donating now and doubling your donation with the $1,000 matching grant!

Thanks!
Lester
